Argentona - Bagà
It’s early in the morning, sunny and not too hot. Last coffee sips and...let's go. Somedays are to push your limits, and some others to simply enjoy the pleasure of riding. Today we'll cross Montseny mountains, and head up to the Pyrinees and that will be a real pleasure.
The first short climb (Can Bordoi) will be a warm up for today's main course; Collformic. Despite it is long, the gradient is soft, so we can enjoy the views as we gain altitude.
Collformic
Distance: 15,4Kms
Average Gradient: 5,4%
Climb: 810m
Altitude: 1145m
Time to descent from Collformic to Seva. Grab your bars as tight as you can, and enjoy. After the fast descent, it's time to refill the bottles and eat something before the flat zone to Vic; it's sunny but windy, so patience will be required
The flat zone is over, it is time to get to Sant Bartomeu del Grau. A nice climb with surprisingly unexpected views.
We keep riding uphill in a less steeper terrain to the highest point of the route, Sant Jaume de Frontanyà. No complains if we ride on roads like these
Pedraforca is one of a kind mountain. Take your time to take a look as you get closer to it.
